Custom made 6” x 6” x 3/4” Finger Labyrinth exclusively designed for Philoxenia Life and fabricated out of solid oak by Peter’s Woodworking located in Sound Beach, NY.

The word labyrinth comes from the Greek labyrinthos and describes any maze-like structure with a single path through it which differentiates it from an actual maze which may have multiple paths intricately linked. Many labyrinth patterns are based on spirals and circles mirrored in nature. The Celts described the labyrinth as the never ending circle.

Labyrinth are commonly used as a contemplative prayer form and as a means to center oneself. Finger Labyrinths are a smaller, portable version of a labyrinth that can be used anywhere and at anytime.
